Vanya Chaturvedi joined I.L.A. Pasrich & Company in May 2022. She was enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2019 and has handled labour and employment law work for British Airways Plc and various foreign missions and embassies. Vanya is interested in labour and employment law, air transport, data privacy law, commercial litigation and dispute resolution. She has demonstrated a rare curiosity for understanding the law and its course and that has stood her in good stead with our aviation and other clients.

Vanya has assisted the firm’s Managing Partner Mr. Amir Singh Pasrich to formulate the terms and conditions of service (TACOS) for country based staff of a foreign mission, this was a multi-nation project and our advice affected the TACOS of several other nations involved in this project. She has also undertaken extensive advisory work relating to data privacy and data protection laws.

She is involved with consumer and civil litigation cases and also helps with commercial arbitration related matters. She regularly appears in the Delhi High Court, District Courts, Consumer Forums and assists clients in their representation before Labour Commissioners for conciliation proceedings. Vanya is a member of the International Bar Association and regularly participates in IBA events.

Vanya completed from the 5-year law programme of Amity Law School graduating with a B.A. LLB degree from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. Her varied internship experiences include placements with several top law firms of the country, she has also volunteered for and interned in the Complaints and Investigation Cell of the National Commission for Women.

Vanya initiated a process of cataloguing aviation related advisory work and industry specific updates. Vanya has co-authored the Lexology GTDT Air Transport and Product Liability (India Chapters) for the year 2022 and 2023.

In her free time, she enjoys writing, photography and travelling.
