About

Amir Singh Pasrich has three decades of practice in India as an advocate and counsel. He has advised and represented Fortune 500 companies, several embassies and foreign governments, international airlines and India’s foremost companies.  Mr. Pasrich is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) since 1997 and its Legal Practice Division or “LPD”.  He was elected as the IBA and LPD Assistant Treasurer in November 2022 at Miami.  He joined the IBA Management Board from January 2023.

Mr. Pasrich is now known as a counsel and litigator.  His areas of practice include commercial litigation, domestic and international commercial arbitration, aviation law (contentious, regulatory and leasing), real estate disputes, product liability, public procurement, writ and appellate remedies, National Green Tribunal representation, labour & employment law and company law.

Mr. Pasrich co-founded the law firm ‘International Law Affiliates’ or “ILA” in 1998. I.L.A. Pasrich & Company was founded in 2010.  He has handled cross-border work since 1992, and presently acts as counsel to the law firm for commercial disputes and international arbitration cases.

Mr. Pasrich has been recognised individually in the 2024 Legal 500 and 2024 Who’s Who Legal.  He contributed to the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business project for over ten years upto 2022.  He has authored press articles on the “Pendency Pandemic” relating to India’s legal system and is working on a project to help speed up India’s legal system.  He has initiated, organised and supported J.B. Dadachanji Memorial debates, with the Attorney General and other senior members of the Indian Bar considering issues like “Constitutional Morality” and the effectiveness of the legal system.

Mr. Pasrich’s client-list has included the Canadian High Commission and the Government of Canada (from 1995 till today), Ashok Leyland Ltd. (the Hinduja Group), British High Commission, Accenture India Pvt. Ltd. (since 2020), Ambuja Cements Ltd. (since 2021), Achenbach Buschhütten GmbH & Co. KG (since 2017), over a dozen international airlines (such as British Airways PLC, Swiss International, Delta Air Lines Inc., Air France & KLM), the Embassy of France, the Delegation of the European Union, TUI AG, etc.

Mr. Pasrich is President of the Oxford & Cambridge Society of India.  He is married to Shivani Wazir Pasrich and has two daughters. He is a keen swimmer, squash player and horse rider.
